The Iowa Dogfish are Iowa's first and only semi-professional lacrosse program. The team name is a nod to the Bowfin, the last surviving species in a line of predatory fish group that dates more than 250 million years back. The organization holds a firm belief that high quality localized lacrosse play will energize and inspire a new generation in Iowa's emerging lacrosse community. Now entering their fifth season at the River's Edge Arena in Davenport, the Dogfish compete against other teams in the region, including the Omaha Rebels, Minneapolis Wheat Kings, Inver Grove Isotopes, and the St. Paul Blueshirts.
